Shooting in Pernille Aalund’s home felt like stepping into Pippi Langstrømpe’s hus - full of personality, color, warmth and wild charm. Every room had its own rhythm, its own story to tell, with mismatched chairs, velvet textures, bold patterns and books stacked like small monuments to a thoughtful life.
Pernille moved through the space with her usual calm confidence, on creaky floors, a cup of tea in hand, sunlight dancing across her face. It was less of a photo session and more of a conversation with the camera turned on..
The result is a series of portraits that feel lived-in and real - just like Pernille. Playful, poetic, and full of soul.
